Like A Boss!! Real Madrid Manager Zidane Equals Mourinho Incredible Away Record In Football (See Details)

Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Saturday, means their manager Zinedine Zidane, has gone 17 matches unbeaten to the road.

This sees him equal Jose Mourinho’s record.

Luis Suarez opened scoring for the hosts, before Sergio Ramos headed in a late equalizer.

The first half, which was a drab affair, ended without goals, although Luis Enrique’s men played much better than the visitors.

Suarez eventually opened scoring in the second half, heading in Neymar’s free-kick, after Raphael Varane failed to pick him up inside the box.

Lionel Messi and Neymar had great chances to settle the tie and close the gap on their eternal rivals to three points. But it was Ramos who had the final word, heading in powerfully from a free-kick.

Madrid remain six points clear of Barcelona at the top of La Liga.

Zidane’s team are yet to lose a game in the league this season.

Ex-Chelsea star says club paid him £50,000 to keep s*x abuse ordeal quiet

After 40 years of torment, Gary Johnson hoped he would get justice for the abuse he says he suffered as a Chelsea FC youth player.

Yet the ex-forward, who said he was s*xually assaulted by chief scout Eddie Heath hundreds of times in three years, said he had no success with the police and that the Professional Footballers Association did not return his calls. He felt he had no other option but to approach his super-rich former club, which refused to accept any blame but last year paid him £50,000 to keep quiet. Now, in an exclusive interview, Gary, 57, bravely waives his right to anonymity to share his experiences to support other victims of the soccer abuse scandal. Gary, part of Chelsea’s first team from 1978 to 81, said Heath groomed him and sexually assaulted from the age of 13. He said: “I felt shame, I felt my childhood had been taken away. I spent my late teens in turmoil, absolute turmoil.

And speaking of the payment from his old club, he said: “I think that they were paying me to keep a lid on this. “Millions of fans around the world watch Chelsea. They are one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world.

All their fans deserve to know the truth about what went on. I know they asked me to sign a gagging order and how many others are there out there? “They may have paid others for their silence. I hope and pray no clubs are allowed to cover this up – no one should escape justice. We need total transparency now for the good of the game.”

This week Chelsea waived the clause in Gary’s settlement banning him from speaking about abuse after after details of his claim were leaked to the media.

EFL Cup!! Manchester United 4-1 West Ham (RESULT)

Manchester United eased into the EFL Cup semi-finals as they beat West Ham with manager Jose Mourinho watching from the Old Trafford stands.

The Portuguese, given a one-match touchline ban before the match, stayed out of view as United reached the last four for the first time since 2013-14.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic clipped in the opening goal inside two minutes before former United youngster Ashley Fletcher equalised as he pounced on David de Gea’s error.

Martial re-established the home side’s lead shortly after half-time, drilling Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s pass low into the bottom corner.

The France international stroked in Antonio Valencia’s low cross after a well-worked team move, with Ibrahimovic adding the gloss by tapping in with virtually the last kick of the game.

Wherever United manager Mourinho was – likely to be inside his office – he will have been pleased with his side’s fluent attacking display, and even happy enough to bring substitute Bastian Schweinsteiger on for his first game since March.

Chelsea played with great intensity, but we were unlucky against West Ham

Blues boss Antonio Conte believes his team were unlucky to be knocked out of the EFL Cup by rivals West Ham.

West Ham led 2-0 at London Stadium, through goals from Cheikhou Kouyate and Edimilson Fernandes, before Gary Cahill added a belated strike with the last kick of the game.

Chelsea had missed a number of chances and Eden Hazard hit the crossbar before Cahill scored in his 2nd consecutive game which was however not enought to salvage a better result leaving Conte disappointed by their last-16 exit.

"We knew these types of game are very difficult, but I think we played with good intensity and created many chances,"

"I saw good spirit in my players. They tried until the end to change the result and we created many chances to score.
"We knew these types of game are very difficult, but I think we played with good intensity and created many chances," said the Italian.

"I saw good spirit in my players. They tried until the end to change the result and we created many chances to score.

"We didn't expect the second goal so early. This changed our plan and then we tried to change the situation with substitutions, but scored only at the end of the match. We were a bit unlucky in this aspect."

"This cup was important to check the development of the young players," he continued. "We have good young players and they need to play.

"I think the young players played a good game with the right intensity and concentration. I found a lot of positive things.

"Usually you learn more after a defeat than a win. I am optimistic because I saw the right spirit, it's very important."

Conte handed a full debut to Nathaniel Chalobah, as well as another start to Ola Aina, and he was at least able to reflect on some positives from the defeat, which came on the heels of Sunday's 4-0 Premier League thrashing of Manchester United.

Conte's side head to Southampton at the weekend, having won their last three top-flight matches, scoring 10 goals without conceding.

Super Eagles handler, Gernot Rohr, probably missed the presence of Odion Jude Ighalo who was not available for Nigeria's last away match against Zambia and paid him a visit in England.

Ighalo made this known on his wall when he wrote:

"Thanks for the visit coach Gernot Rohr... NG"

Hopefully, Ighalo will be available for invitation in the next Russia 2018 World qualifier match against Algeria on the 12th of November, here in Nigeria.

It is up to the others to Judge me, I am the best in the world - Cristiano Ronaldo

"In my head, I am the best player in the world," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "And I am working very hard every day with the ambition to be the strongest. It is then up to others to judge me.

I always want to improve myself. I am very motivated and I believe that is the key behind my success on the pitch."

The three-time- balon d'or winner is enduring a difficult start to the 2016-17 campaign after sustaining a knee problem in the final of Euro 2016, but feels he is nearing top form again after netting five goals in two games for Portugal during the international break.

"I suffered a serious injury [in the final at Euro 2016] and missed two-and-a-half months, but I am feeling well now," he added.

"I am back to my usual best and I am ready to enjoy another spectacular season."

Do not over-step your bounds of common decency : Jose Mourinho pleads with Supporters ahead of Manchester United/Liverpool clashs

Jose Mourinho has pleaded with Liverpool and Manchester United supporters not to become embroiled in a vile war of words making a mockery of the respective tragedies involving both clubs.

The two north-west rivals meet at Liverpool’s Anfield ground on Monday, the first meeting between the teams since Mourinho took over as United manager in

pre-season.

Both clubs have already issued a statement imploring their own supporters to refrain from tasteless chants that make reference to the Hillsborough disaster

that left 96 people dead during Liverpool’s 1989 FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest at Sheffield Wednesday’s ground or the Munich air crash that

killed 23 people as United flew back from a European Cup tie in 1958.

Mourinho echoed the call for supporters not to overstep the bounds of common decency during an eloquent news conference on Friday.

“In football we have some football tragedies, if you can speak of them like that, which is the big match we lost, some mistake a player did and you can make

fun of that in some way,” said Mourinho.

“But the human tragedy is something much more serious, and I think is the last thing somebody should use in a football pitch, because they were really big

tragedies.

“So I would be really sad if in such a big football match that was a negative point,” he explained.

The Portuguese boss had a tempestuous relationship with Liverpool in his time as Chelsea manager, taking part in a number of high-profile, often

controversial, matches with the Merseyside club.

And while the United manager pointed out that his current side’s trip to Liverpool will not decide either club’s fate this season, he did not under-estimate

the intensity of the rivalry.

“I have to feel it, to play it, and then take my conclusions, but I have been in England for a long time,” said Mourinho.

“Obviously I have never played this match, but I played many times against Liverpool, many times against Manchester United, I understand the dimension of the

clubs and now I understand better the dimensions of two big historical rivals.

“But the season for me is not about the Anfield match and Old Trafford match (against Liverpool) in January, I think, the season is about many matches, many

points to win, many points to lose and targets to achieve.”

Mourinho added: “I look forward to it, yes, I always like to play at Anfield. I won many times there, I also lost, I won big matches, I lost big matches, so

I cannot say I like to go there because I’m always successful, because it’s not true.

“I like the atmosphere, normally the characteristics of the matches, but being Manchester United manager means something more, because we cannot compare the

historic rivalry between my former clubs and United and Liverpool.

“It can be comparable to Real Madrid v Barcelona, Benfica v Porto, these kind of matches,” insisted Mourinho, himself a former Real and Porto manager.

I still can't believe i'm playing for Super Eagles

Alex Iwobi, who Scored alongside Kelechi Iheanacho against Zambia on sunday during Nigeria's WC qualifiers has stated that the FIFA World Cup is the biggest championship and that Nigeria surely must be there in 2018.

“We are such a big country, we believed we could do well but unfortunately we lost to Egypt. So, we were unable to qualify for the African Cup of Nations,” he said.

“Qualifying for the World Cup is the biggest one and everyone would want to participate in it.”

Iwobi revealed that he had not yet recovered from the pleasant surprise of been an integral part of the Super Eagles of Nigeria early in his career.

“I will love to be at the World Cup too but right now, playing for my national team, I am still amazed,” he said. “To play in the World Cup will be a great feeling… to be able to play among world class players.”

From 2011, Iwobi played regularly for the England Under 16, Under 17 and England Under 18 national teams, however he chose Nigeria for the full national team and Iwobi made his Super Eagles debut on October 8, 2015, replacing Ahmed Musa in the 57th minute of a 2-0 friendly defeat to DR Congo in Vise, Belgium.
