"Murder She Wrote" is a hot new patua hit song by "Zeek", who is popularly known as "Zeek Valentino", the CEO of the self-owned DZME.
Zeek is a young promising artist from Osun State who has spent most of his adult age in the southern part of the country. As a well-to-do artists, He doesn't just make songs but hit and mind blowing songs and this made him launch his first album in September 2014 amidst the presence of many Entertainment stars across the globe. 1. Hostel Weeks- All hostel residents take out a whole week to celebrate their hostel. When I was in year one I attended almost all the hostel weeks be it male or female. Different games and competitions are carried out. It is always a fun time in the various hostels as it was (then) the only time when the other gender could go into any hostel. From cooking, to football and eating competition, the final day is usually the most anticipated as the Mr or Miss of the hostel is picked and a celebrity guest is usually expected to perform. For year one students this is an event you should look out for and for year two to final year students, am sure the celebrity guest usually attracts them to the finals of the hall weeks.
2. SWAG-SWAG meaning Something We Akokites Got (which is very true) is a concert, actually it’s the concert. The concert you need to watch out for, the concert you need to attend, the concert you need to talk about. This event is brought to you by The Gang Entertainment and ULSU and it promises to be a yearly thing. The theme for this year is: A Day with Superstar Dj Kentalky. With acts like Burna Boy, Sean Tizzle, Lil Kesh, Slyde, Sefhan and lots more. My advice to you is that once they start selling the tickets of this event make sure you buy yours or else you are gonna be told the story!!! #DATZALL.
3. Miss Unilag- This is an event but also a competition (pageant) proudly brought to the people by Sulcata Entertainment in conjunction with ULSU. Miss Unilag 2014 was the bomb (even though dem bounce me and my crew shaa) but with the whole planning process I have seen, the 2015 edition promises to be better. With over 8 contestants vying for the crown, last year’s winner walked away with a brand new car, this year will probably be an airplane (lolz). Miss Unilag’s stage is usually graced by the best hosts and the best performers in the game, so trust me when I say Miss Unilag 2015 is an event worth having sleepless nights over.
4. Unilag’s Got Talent- This is the first edition of the bright idea and am rest assured with the people handling it (DEB Entertainment and ULSU) it’s going to be nothing short of success. Unilag’s got talent will have the audition phase and the main event phase. This event and competition is one to watch out for. I heard the forms are out already so if you want to be the next celebrity (after Olabode Saygee of cos) out of Unilag, pls get your forms and from me to you, best of luck.
5. Unilag Carnival- This is an event everybody is looking forward to as it promises to be a crazy affair. Brought to you by Timeline Entertainment and powered by Sway Entertainment and ULSSU, Unilag carnival promises to be the biggest event this coming semester. If you attended the after exams party(which Olabode Saygee hosted) well, that was Infact not even up to a tip of the iceberg of what to experience at the main carnival. When you think colorful costumes, cute girls, crazy parade, awesome performances, you think Unilag carnival.

NSFDW- Nigerian Student Fashion Designer Week is an event all fashion lovers and all fashion designers need to attend. This event promises to be something big and the hype has been so massive that you just have to watch out for what and what will go down at this event.
Kampus Unite 2.0- This is a party you should lookout for as it is attended by over 30 higher institutions brought to you by invaders entertainment. If you have been looking to meet hot boys and cute girls from other higher institutions then Kampus Unite 2.0 is the event for you.

Actress Stephanie Linus and her husband Idahosa Linus are expecting their first child together. Stephanie confirmed the pregnancy to Encomium magazine
"Yes my husband and I are expecting our first child and we are so, so happy, joyous, excited and you can add over the moon" she said
Stephanie and Idahosa got married in April 2012. Congrats to them.

James Horner, the consummate film composer known for his heart-tugging scores for Field of Dreams, Braveheart and Titanic, for which he won two Academy Awards, died Monday in a plane crash near Santa Barbara. He was 61.
His death was confirmed by Sylvia Patrycja, who is identified on Horner's film music page as his assistant.
"We have lost an amazing person with a huge heart and unbelievable talent," Patrycja wrote on Facebook on Monday. "He died doing what he loved. Thank you for all your support and love and see you down the road."
Horner was piloting the small aircraft when it crashed into a remote area about 60 miles north of Santa Barbara, officials said. An earlier report noted that the plane, which was registered to the composer, had gone down, but the pilot had not been identified.

Our Diddy sources tell us ... Diddy insists the drama began during a workout session yesterday because strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi was "riding Justin badly" and told him not to come back until the end of the summer.
Diddy went to the campus today to speak with Alosi -- believing he has an "issue" with Justin -- but things didn't go well when he arrived to campus.
Our Diddy sources say the coach would not see him and staff told him to leave ... but Diddy went to Alosi's office instead where Alosi told him to get out and threatened to call security if he didn't leave.
We're told Diddy said, "Fine, I'll call police" ... and Alosi snapped -- going after Diddy with his hands.
Our UCLA sources tell us Diddy confronted Strength and Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi while Alosi was on the phone. We're told Diddy was told to "hang on" but he wasn't having it and picked up a kettlebell and swung it, narrowly missing Alosi. One source said if Diddy had connected, it could have killed Alosi.
We're told Diddy insists he grabbed a kettlebell and held it up in a defensive position ... but did not attack with an intent to injure the coach.
