EFL Cup!! Manchester United 4-1 West Ham (RESULT)

Manchester United eased into the EFL Cup semi-finals as they beat West Ham with manager Jose Mourinho watching from the Old Trafford stands.

The Portuguese, given a one-match touchline ban before the match, stayed out of view as United reached the last four for the first time since 2013-14.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic clipped in the opening goal inside two minutes before former United youngster Ashley Fletcher equalised as he pounced on David de Gea’s error.

Martial re-established the home side’s lead shortly after half-time, drilling Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s pass low into the bottom corner.

The France international stroked in Antonio Valencia’s low cross after a well-worked team move, with Ibrahimovic adding the gloss by tapping in with virtually the last kick of the game.

Wherever United manager Mourinho was – likely to be inside his office – he will have been pleased with his side’s fluent attacking display, and even happy enough to bring substitute Bastian Schweinsteiger on for his first game since March.

Paul Pogba is the best Mid-Fielder in the world – Jose Mourinho

As we all Know the self Acclaimed ‘Special one’ Jose Mourinho will always keep the media interesting anywhere he is.

Jose mourinho is back again this time he is claiming his New Signing at Manchester United ‘Paul Pogba’ (Who has proofed himself in the previous seasons to be one of those young player to look out to) is the best midfielder in the world, don’t forget when he was at Real Madrid There will be no other Ronaldo which he latter Denied at Chelsea Eden Hazard is at the same level with The world Best Players ‘Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’ Even without scoring half of the goals these two players Scores in a season,Now He is Saying ‘Paul pogba is the best MidFielder in the world.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes Paul Pogba is the world’s best midfielder, but does not expect the France international to produce fireworks every week.
Pogba, 23, became the most expensive footballer of all time when moving to United from Serie A champions Juventus for £93.8m earlier this month.
All eyes will be on Pogba, who left United to join Juventus in 2012 before returning this summer, when he makes his second Premier League debut for the Red Devils against Southampton on Friday.
However, while big things are expected from Pogba following his world record transfer, Mourinho insists he does not believe a huge amount of goals should be one of them.
“Can Paul score Ronaldo and Messi’s goals?” Mourinho said. “Not even 25 per cent, I believe. I believe he cannot score 20 goals in a season.
“So if to be the best player in the world means to score a lot of goals, that’s not the point. But he’s one of the best midfield players, maybe I could say the best midfield player, in the world.
“I’m not worried with an ‘impact’ and I don’t think he’s worried with that. I see him very calm, I see him very comfortable in this role of a star player and feeling very well under that skin.

“I don’t see him under pressure, I don’t see him in training trying to do things to show that he’s different, to show that he’s better.
“I think his impact will be something very natural, a progressive impact of contribution to improve the team, because that’s what he’s here for – to win trophies.
“I’m not expecting, the first time he touches the ball, to dribble past five guys and score a wonder goal. I expect the first time he touches the ball to make a correct pass, a good selection of passing, a good choice, a good simple execution and a fluid game.
Mourinho added: “So, maybe it’s not an impact, maybe just a natural improvement of the team, because he’s a super football player.
“When you speak about the best players in the world, you go immediately to the ones that score a lot of goals.
“You don’t give a golden ball [Ballon d’Or] to a goalkeeper. You gave it to [defender Fabio] Cannavaro once, because in that season he was the captain of Italy, the world champions.
“[Paolo] Maldini never got a gold ball. [Javier] Zanetti never got a gold ball. Top goalkeepers, over history, didn’t get a gold ball. You look immediately to the ones that score a lot of goals.”

'IT'S HUMILIATING' - MOURINHO SLAMS CONTE FOR CHELSEA CELEBRATIONS

The Portuguese criticised his opposite number's antics on the touchline as they embraced following Chelsea's 4-0 win over the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge on Sunday
Jose Mourinho reportedly slammed Antonio Conte for humiliating him on the touchline during Manchester United's 4-0 defeat against Chelsea on Sunday.

Goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante done the damage as Mourinho lost on his return to his former club at Stamford Bridge.

Conte was his typical exuberant self as Chelsea destroyed Mourinho's men to record their third straight Premier League win, celebrating Kante's strike wildly in the dugout area in particular.

And as Mourinho and Conte embraced at the end of the match, the former appeared to criticise his opposite number's antics as the fourth goal went in.

"Don't do that [celebrate] at 4-0. 1-0 okay, but 4-0 is humiliating,” Mourinho was filmed saying in Conte's ear.

When asked what he told Conte at the end of the affair by Sky Sports , Mourinho refused to comment.
