Nigerians are losing hope
Senators Ask Saraki To Release DSS Report On Magu
According to Daily Trust, the Director General of the DSS, Lawal Daura, had transmitted the 'status report' on Magu to Saraki since October but Saraki is yet to release the letter, many weeks after.
The letter seeking Magu’s confirmation was forwarded to the Senate on June 17 this year by then Acting President Yemi Osinbajo when President Muhammadu Buhari was on leave.
But the letter which was received at Senate on June 22nd was not read on the floor of the Senate until July 14. Magu has been acting since November last year.
One of the senators expressed reservation over the non-release of the report, saying "Why and what is he holding the report for?
“People are alleging that we are trying to frustrate the corruption fight of this administration but it is not so. Let him release it now," he said.
A ranking senator, who confirmed that the DSS report was with Saraki, said “There is growing agitation among our colleagues and by this week if nothing happens, we will raise point of order on it."
He added that: “The security report should be discussed in a closed session for us to know the next line of action. For unknown reason, the Senate President has been holding this, he should let it out," he said.
Daily Trust reported that the EFCC boss has been lobbying the Senators especially the principal officers of the Senate.
Contacted, the Special Adviser Media and Publicity to Saraki, Yusuph Olaniyonu said, "I don't have information on that matter please".

We are striving to right the wrongs of the past, please be patient with me - BUHARI
The President made the appeal during the convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo state.
The President, who was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Prof Anthony Anwuka, urged ASUU to appreciate the current economic challenges that has financially constrained the Federal Government from meeting its demands.
Buhari assured that his administration will not renege on its promise to provide opportunities and avenues so that youths can develop their skills and creative ingenuity.
He said, “As partners in progress, I plead for understanding and cooperation as the government is committed to addressing the various issues being canvassed by the Union, as we strive to right the wrongs of the past.
“The fear is further amplified with the rising unemployment coupled with the recent economic recession that has befallen our beloved country. Periods like this are opportunities for geniuses to emerge.”
Jamb forms are not on sale yet
The board’s head of media and information, Fabian Benjamin, debunked the speculations in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, on Sunday in Lagos.
According to the statement, the registrar of the examination body, Ishaq Oloyede, has expressed disappointment with the development and called on innocent Nigerians not to fall prey.
“The public is hereby notified that JAMB has not commenced the sales of its application documents as advertised by some unknown and desperate persons.
“They are to disregard any website or individuals claiming to be in possession of these documents and offering same for sales.
“We are putting finishing touches to innovation and changes to ease the challenges associated with the procedure of application for the 2017 all Computer-Based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
“We are looking forward to announcing the commencement of the sales of these documents very soon,” the statement quoted the registrar as saying.
The statement advised the public to feel free to contact the board for clarification on its activities through its website or contact numbers whenever they were in doubt.
It noted that Mr. Oloyede had announced his willingness to open the board’s door to the public to make valuable contributions and also report any act against the board’s pedigree by either the staff or the board’s development partners.
“We must all be interested in what happens in JAMB, as it is too important to be ignored.
“Help us to watch over where our eyes cannot get to, hear where our ears fail and be our police where our presence is insufficient,” the statement said.
It added that the Registrar had restated the board’s determination to ensure that nobody was spared in sustaining and advancing the credibility of the board.

Like A Boss!! Real Madrid Manager Zidane Equals Mourinho Incredible Away Record In Football (See Details)
Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Saturday, means their manager Zinedine Zidane, has gone 17 matches unbeaten to the road.
This sees him equal Jose Mourinho’s record.
Luis Suarez opened scoring for the hosts, before Sergio Ramos headed in a late equalizer.
The first half, which was a drab affair, ended without goals, although Luis Enrique’s men played much better than the visitors.
Suarez eventually opened scoring in the second half, heading in Neymar’s free-kick, after Raphael Varane failed to pick him up inside the box.
Lionel Messi and Neymar had great chances to settle the tie and close the gap on their eternal rivals to three points. But it was Ramos who had the final word, heading in powerfully from a free-kick.
Madrid remain six points clear of Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
Zidane’s team are yet to lose a game in the league this season.

In a chat with Encomium, the popular OAP, who recently revealed shocking experiences she had before her divorce, said she has not given up on marriage.
Asked if she could ever give marriage another shot, she said, “It was a journey, we all go through different stages, we learn from them.
“Marriage is a beautiful thing. Next time we would be talking, I might be a married woman, who knows. Life is a journey. You are allowed to grow, it is a journey of growth, and be open, do what you are supposed to do when you are supposed to do it, so that you can learn from your mistakes, become who you are supposed to be.”
On her perception about marriage, she said, “It is a beautiful institution. I am not coming from a bitter place, you would accept what happened.
“For me, it might be a marriage, for the next person, it might be a sick child. The most important thing is what you do with what you learnt from the situation.
“You are allowed to grow, it is a journey of growth, and be open, do what you are supposed to do when you are supposed to do it, so that you can learn from your mistakes, become who you are supposed to be.”

DJ Jimmy Jatt: How My Parents’ Separation Affected My Life
Most celebrities had their fair share of growing up, legendary Nigerian disc jockey, Jimmy Jatt, speaks on how the separation of his parents has affected his life from childhood.
The reknowed DJ, who has made a name for himself in the Nigerian entertainment sphere, told a popular daily that he came from a broken home, which motivated him to put his home in order so that his children would not go through some of the things he experienced.
In his words, “There are things that guide me, I am not from this generation; so family is key to me and I have to keep it together so that my kids can say they grew up in a very stable and intact family. That is very key to me because I did not have that. I come from a broken home and I know what that means. I don’t want that for my kids or anybody.
”The fact that I am from a broken home has motivated me to ensure that my family is intact because I know how life is for a young person who comes from a broken home. I guide against it by all means. It affected my growing up without a doubt even though I turned out to be a good child.
”’My parents would never tell you there was a time I caused any trouble, I was never a troublesome kid but when you look back, you would know that if your parents were together and the guidance was double without competition, things would have been better.
I know that there are certain things which my mother did which I liked but my father reversed such because he did not want my mother to have her way. For me, family has always been the essence at every stage.”

Read this shocking revelation by MMM Nigeria founder
According to reports on Friday, December 2, the pastor had been quoted as the Nigerian founder of the ponzi scheme, with the Nigerian Communication Week (NWC) reportedly stating that he registered the scheme as MMM-Nigeria.net on June 7, 2016.
The South Africa-based clergyman has now cleared his head from the whole issue, saying he was neither the founder, nor has he met with Sergei Mavrodi, believed to be the Russian who founded the scheme.
"All I’ve done is to use my knowledge of web designing to launch mmm-nigeria.net," Pastor Mbanefo said, adding that "I have never met Sergei Mavrodi before. Mavrodi does not not even know about my activities in the MMM programme."
Blame these set of people for economic recession
According to Isaac Okorafor, acting director of public communications at the CBN, the bank is not by any means allocating foreign exchange to a select few.
“First I want to state that the Central Bank of Nigeria has set up an inter-bank foreign exchange market where anyone who wishes to buy foreign exchange can bid for and buy through their banks,” he said.
“It is not true that CBN allocates dollars. There is nowhere in the world that the Central bank sits by and allows vicious speculators to solely distort the value of its currency endlessly.
“All central banks intervene to buy or sell in the market to ensure that the local currency is protected from dubious attacks.”
He said “the channels for advice and contribution of ideas on the current economic situation by all patriotic Nigerians are open,” further stating that those making statements to disparage the CBN are being insensitive.
“It is rather unfortunate that some people have chosen to play to the gallery and to make statements to disparage those in leadership at this time in total insensitivity to the larger interests of the Nigerian economy.
“We should not forget that the seed of our current economic crisis was planted by the failure of those who occupied public office in the past to act in the long-term interest of the Nigerian economy. It is easy to criticize from outside.
“It is always easier and the grass greener when people are out of office. The challenge we face today is a choice between pandering to the established interest in Nigeria’s speculative economy and the protection of the wages of the real stakeholders who work hard on fixed incomes, for they are the core victims of Naira depreciation.
“At this critical time in the life of our country the CBN will continue to explore avenues with the Federal Government in order to find solutions to the current economic situation.
“Already Nigerians are waking up to the call to be more productive and to look inwards and to be less dependent on the importation of foreign goods and services.”
The CBN statement comes a day after Muhammad Sanusi II, emir of Kano and former CBN governor, accused the apex bank of illegally lending to federal government.
“The problem of the current government is not having the right policies to fix the current economic woes,” Sanusi had said at a policy monitoring dialogue in Abuja hosted by Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development.
“The CBN-FGN relationship is no longer independent. In fact, one could argue their relationship has become unhealthy.
“CBN claims on the FGN now tops N4.7 trillion — equal to almost 50% of the FGN’s total domestic debt. This is a clear violation of the Central Bank Act of 2007 (Section 38.2) which caps advances to the FGN at 5% of last year’s revenues.”
So True!!! 10 Things Ladies Do When They Visit A Guy They Don’t Want To Sleep With
There is a reaction to every action; most ladies are naturally cautious and it would be a lie to think most of them do not think or assume men would want to sleep with them the very first time they visit them.
As a result of this, women also devise methods that would protect them as much as possible so the guys would not sleep with them on the first date. Having s*x may be inevitable in that relationship at the long run, but women are able to prolong the abstinence for as long as possible when they do take certain steps. Find below some of the things ladies do when they do not want a guy to sleep with them anytime they go visit them:
10. Keeping the door opened
Ladies sometimes are on the defensive side and ask men to open the door to their rooms so everyone could see what is happening in the room. To an extent, ladies feel comfortable this way as they know it is near impossible for the guys to attempt being funny or try to have s*x with them with the door wide opened.
9. Wearing tight clothes
Another thing ladies do when they go visit men in their houses is to wear tight clothes that have restrictions. It would be pretty difficult getting them out of the cloth and it would give them enough time to allow sanity creep back in peradventure they got carried away.
8. Red flag shows up #
Ladies know that men do not like hearing the fact that the red flag is on. Most men would be irritated seeing the blood bank of the girls when they want to sleep with them. It is a natural turn off for men so ladies use it as a weapon and say they are on. Some even go on to wear pads just to prove it is real.
7. They would have a friend with them
Ladies do not like visiting men for the first time alone. They would rather go with one or two friends that would help them break the tension that could be around the place. Having one or two other girls in the room apart from the main girl visiting would spoil the show for the men. Ladies can be sure nothing would happen then.
6. They avoid sitting on the bed
Many ladies avoid sitting on the bed when they visit men as they feel they are falling into a trap. The bed makes them more cautious and to avoid being tempted or lured into doing something they do not want to do at that moment, they would rather sit on the chair.
5. They receive calls at intervals
When ladies feel like they have stayed long enough in a place, they start to receive calls that would make the guys feel they need to be on their way. Some even become apologetic on the phone to make the guy feel they have to go somewhere immediately. In some cases, girls put their friends up to this and make them call them at intervals just to prevent the guy from launching his s*x idea on them.
4. They focus on something
Another thing ladies do when visiting guys in their houses is to concentrate on doing a particular thing. Some place all their attention on books while some watch movies and do not give the guys the time to want to get personal with them.
3. List of house chores
Ladies avoid having s-x with men they visit by coming up with the excuse of leaving for their own house. Usually, the guy would try to persuade them and they would come up with the annoying list of things they need to do at home before their parents or guardians get back.
2. Stories that touch the heart
Sometimes, ladies cook up all sorts of stories that would make men pity them; they talk about how they have suffered one or two forms of abuse in their previous relationships. They act traumatized and this would naturally throw the men off balance. It would after all be inappropriate for the guys to want to try anything funny after they have heard their heart touching tales.
1. They act edgy
Sometimes, ladies deliberately put up an edgy front when they visit men in their houses. They act uncomfortable and would be cold towards the guy till they leave. Men sense their defense and aloofness and would rather leave them alone till they adjust.
Arsenal Are Making Moves to Replace Arsene Wenger
A German football coach has confirmed Arsenal have made contact over the possibility of replacing Arsene Wenger at the Emirates. The Frenchman’s contract with the Gunners will run down at the end of the season and he has not signed an extension so far.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported the north London club have approached the Bundesliga manager as the Gunners have started their search for Wenger’s successor. The Austrian manager responded to reports linking him with a move to Arsenal by saying “it was a well-researched story.”
“There was a lot of truth to it. I have heard of worse fates than succeeding the longest-serving manager in England. It’s not damaging my reputation, is it?” Hasenhuttl was quoted as saying by ESPN.
“We don’t have to put too much thought into it. I have found my luck here,” he added.

The 49-year-old manager started his coaching career with SpVgg Unterhaching in 2007 and his rise has seen him land the job with the newly promoted Bundesliga side in July. Under his guidance, the Die Roten Bullen have 30 points from 12 games, level on points with leaders Bayern Munich who have played 13 games so far this season.

Ex-Chelsea star says club paid him £50,000 to keep s*x abuse ordeal quiet
After 40 years of torment, Gary Johnson hoped he would get justice for the abuse he says he suffered as a Chelsea FC youth player.
Yet the ex-forward, who said he was s*xually assaulted by chief scout Eddie Heath hundreds of times in three years, said he had no success with the police and that the Professional Footballers Association did not return his calls. He felt he had no other option but to approach his super-rich former club, which refused to accept any blame but last year paid him £50,000 to keep quiet. Now, in an exclusive interview, Gary, 57, bravely waives his right to anonymity to share his experiences to support other victims of the soccer abuse scandal. Gary, part of Chelsea’s first team from 1978 to 81, said Heath groomed him and sexually assaulted from the age of 13. He said: “I felt shame, I felt my childhood had been taken away. I spent my late teens in turmoil, absolute turmoil.
And speaking of the payment from his old club, he said: “I think that they were paying me to keep a lid on this. “Millions of fans around the world watch Chelsea. They are one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world.
All their fans deserve to know the truth about what went on. I know they asked me to sign a gagging order and how many others are there out there? “They may have paid others for their silence. I hope and pray no clubs are allowed to cover this up – no one should escape justice. We need total transparency now for the good of the game.”
This week Chelsea waived the clause in Gary’s settlement banning him from speaking about abuse after after details of his claim were leaked to the media.
Revealed!!! Davido Reportedly Bought ‘Gbagbe Oshi’ From A Popular Nigerian Musician… See Full Details!
Reports have emerged that singer, Davido, bought the heavily criticised single, ‘Gbagbe Oshi’ where he failed to do justice to his attempt at patois. The song, investigations reveal, was originally owned by dancehall star, General Pype, who first performed the single at an event, ‘Industry Nite’ in 2014.
But General Pype never released the song and it was never heard again until Davido dropped the single recently, with critics highlighting the Sony signee’s poor attempt at patois.
It is further reported that after paying General Pype off in the region of N1 million, Davido recorded the entire thing in own voice, choosing to use General Pype’s lyrics and only adding some background vocals and adlibs to create the final work.
The song, according to industry experts, would have been a major hit if it was done by someone with quality patios ability.

The Emir said ”I can tell you for free, if the Senate today approves that we can borrow $30 billion, honestly, no one will lend us. It should be approved and I will like to see how you will go to the international market with an economy that has five exchange rates.
“There is one rate for petroleum marketers, there is inter-bank rate, there is another for money market operators such as western union, money gram, there is bureau de change rate and there is a special rate you get when you call the CBN for a transaction.
“So, who will borrow you when they don’t know your exact reserve and exchange rate. I want to see who will borrow you money when the Niger Delta bombing of oil is there when the main source of the loan repayment is oil.”
You will recall that the Senate on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, rejected President Muhammadu Buhari’s request for approval to borrow $30 billion.
