Chika Ike loses dad

Nollywood actress Chika Ike lost her dad recently after a prolonged illness. The actress flew her dad to India for treatment two years ago due to same illness but unfortunately he passed on. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

A Kenyan couple decided to theme their wedding around Manchester United, with everything from their clothes to the wedding cake featuring the club's branding.
The groom married his heartthrob wearing a Man U jersey and decorated his wedding car with the club’s emblem. The bride wore a traditional white dress and although she may look like she's not in support of what's going on with that unamused look, if you check out some of the wedding pics, she's actually wearing a red flower in her hair so it means the couple are United in their support...lol. DSS to quiz Alimodu Sheriff over Boko Haram sponsorship allegation






The Department of State Security, DSS, says it will be inviting former Borno state governor, Alimodu Sheriff, for questioning following recent allegations leveled against him by Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, who said he's a Boko Haram sponsor.

Speaking at a news conference today in Abuja, spokesperson for DSS, Marilyn Ogar, said the former governor had in the past been invited to the DSS office for questioning over Boko Haram activities and they will be inviting him again. Ogar also dismissed insinuations that former Army chief, Lt. Gen Azubuike Ihejirika is a Boko Haram sponsor, describing it as untrue, uncharitable & wicked. Find the statement after the cut...


"I would want to say here that it is absolutely uncharitable for us as Nigerians to reward somebody who laid down his life in pursuing this same people (Boko Haram) for us to accept that he can in any way be associated with or seen sponsoring the same sect he together with this service succeeded in pulling down their activities in Kano, Okene and other parts of Nigeria to a halt and pushing them to Sambisa forest. Its the same man we want, because he is no longer in office, to say he is the one sponsoring the sect. I think its being wicked. That shouldn't be the way we reward people who lay down their lives to provide a secure environment for us. As for the former Governor, he has been invited twice by this service and the service has also invited him again" she said
