Over 200 killed in the bomb blast at Kano Central Mosque yesterday Via @iam_bobokanbai

Over 200 people were reportedly killed in the bomb blast that occurred yesterday afternoon at the Kano Central Mosque where the Emir of Kano usually leads prayers. Some eye-witnesses and rescue officials put the figure at 300, making it one the deadliest bomb attacks in Nigeria.

According to eyewitnesses, three bombs went off one after the other at the 10,000 capacity Mosque during the Friday Jumat prayers. Two went off inside the Mosque, and one outside. And when people tried to flee the scene, gun men opened fire on worshipers. Many of the casualties were children who couldn't run as fast. Some were trampled to death in the mayhem that ensued.

When normalcy returned hours after the attack, the dead and wounded, said to be over 250, were taken to the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital and the Nasarawa Hospital.

The Emir of Kano was out of the country when the incident occurred. He'd left the night before.

President Jonathan also cancelled his meeting with Nigerians entertainers at the Creative Industry event last night because of the blast.

Is this really the story behind Black Friday? Via @iam_bobokanbai

The number one trending topic in most parts of the world yesterday, including Nigeria, was Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving where stores open early and slash prices of goods to kick off the holiday shopping season. But a group condemning the participation of blacks in the sales day say it stemmed from slavery. Really? Below is what they wrote

"This was the day after Thanksgiving when slave traders would sell slaves for a discount to assist plantation owners with more helpers for the upcoming winter (for cutting and stacking fire wood, winter proofing etc.), hence the name"

Eminem finally confirms he and Rihanna used to play 'ten ten' :-) Via @iam_bobokanbai

All this kiss and tell men...lol. We've all heard the rumours...Rihanna and Eminem used to kcuf and she was badly heartbroken when he ended things. Now, years later, he's talking about it in a song...

In his new song, Shady XV, which was released yesterday, Eminem talked specifically about giving Rihanna head. He spits;

Still get along with this voice cause that's the monster
So do-si-do with a sociopath, everyone who knows me knows that
What they don't know is the fact Rihanna calls me Pinocchio, meh
She loves the way I lie
Sits on my face and waits for my nose to grow
