R&B star Jeremih rang in his birthday by getting arrested early Friday morning in the Valley.
The singer who just turned 28 on Friday was pulled over by California Highway Patrol around 2:15 AM and booked for misdemeanor DUI.

Seems like he was out celebrating his birthday early and ended up spending the rest of the night behind bars. Bail was set at $15k, and he was released around 11 AM on Friday.

Girl involved in horrific trailer accident in Warri has lost one leg .. via @iam_bobokanbai

Earlier this week, I told y'all about a horrific accident that occurred on Monday July 13 at Udu Road, Warri involving a bullion van on the wrong side of traffic and the trailer that hit and crushed a lady's legs. (read here). Sadly, she's lost one leg, and the doctors are struggling to save the second one.

She's currently at DELSUTH, Oghara and in need of funds. The bank where this bullion van was going has refused to help out. Some legal practitioners in Udu are on it, and an organization, Center for the Vulnerable and under-privileged area also involved.

Singer Omawumi has given birth to her second child - a baby boy. Omawumi welcomed her bundle of joy in the early hours of today in a hospital in the US. Mother and son are said to be doing great. This is the second child for Omawumi and her husband, Tosin Yusuf. Big congrats to them.

APC party member shot dead in Festac .. via @iam_bobokanbai

A chieftain of the APC in Lagos, Mr Shalew Daramola was yesterday July 15th assassinated in Festac town. According to reports, Mr Daramola was with members of his party on 3rd Avenue K close, where they were sharing some items for the Sallah celebration when he stepped out to go check his car. He was then accosted by a man who asked him for money and when Daramola said he didn't have any money on him, the man shot him at close range. He then jumped on a waiting motorcycle and fled the scene. Mr Daramola died on his way to the hospital..
