Buhari Authorised The Sale Of Two Presidential Aircraft

Finally, President Muhammadu Buhari has given approval for the sale of two presidential aircraft, a Falcon 7x executive jet and Hawker 4000 from the Presidential Air Fleet, PAF.
This was in tune of his 2015 election campaign promises of selling off many of the airplanes to reduce cost if elected as president.
More of the aircraft would also be sold in the coming days.Recall that Controversy had trailed the promise in the past as to whether the president would live up to his words.
Presidency sources confirmed that PAF contains 10 aircrafts which affected the nation’s revenue.

The aircrafts included Boeing Business Jet (Boeing 737-800 or AirForce One), one Gulfstream 550, one Gulfstream V (Gulfstream 500), two Falcons 7X, one Hawker Sidley 4000, two AgustaWestland AW 139 helicopters and two AgustaWestland AW 101 helicopters.
The presidency yesterday put out some advertorial, announcing the sales.
Reacting afterwards to the authenticity of the advertorials, the Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity to president Buhari, Mallam Grana Shehu said that indeed, the president made the approval for the sale, it was in line with the APC election campaign promises in 2015, stressing that the development would help save more money for the country.
“This is in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari that aircraft in the Presidential air fleet be reduced to cut down on waste.
“When he campaigned to be President, the then APC candidate Muhammadu Buhari, if you recall, promised to look at the presidential air fleet with view to cutting down on waste.
“His directive to a government committee on this assignment is that he liked to see a compact and reliable aircraft for the safe airlift of the President, the Vice President and other government officials that go on special missions.
“This exercise is by no means complete.
“I am sure the Commander of the Presidential air fleet will any time from now, call you to a ceremony at which he will hand over some other aircraft to the Airforce for their operations”, Shehu explained in a statement yesterday.

House of Reps Members share between N10m and N20m every month - Jibrin

A fresh allegation by the suspended former chairman, committee of representatives committee on appropriations, has unsettled lawmakers.

According to The Punch, investigations showed that some members were agitated by the development on Tuesday, October 4, forcing them to discuss it among themselves on the floor.

Jibrin had said on Sunday that members paid themselves up to N20m monthly, an amount that was way beyond their official N1m salary. “Between Sunday and this morning (Tuesday), members were bombarded with calls from people, mainly from their constituencies.

“Some rained abuses on them, while others demanded their share of the money. “They accuse lawmakers of deceiving them that they have no money, but are angry that they allegedly share between N10m and N20m every month,”one senior legislative official informed newsmen. Findings indicated that most members were “alarmed” over Jibrin’s fresh figures as they denied collecting such monthly funds.

A former Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Mrs. Ayo Omidiran, who could not contain her anger, raised a point of privilege, seeking for the matter to be discussed immediately. Although, Omidiran, a member of the All Progressives Congress from Osun State, did not mention Jibrin’s allegations when she raised her point of order, she made it clear that her privilege had been breached and called for an executive session.

“I am calling for an executive session; let us have an executive session now,” she told the Speaker, Mr Yakubu Dogara, after the floor was yielded to her.

But Dogara overruled her on the grounds that the procedure she adopted to call for an executive session was “strange” to the rules of the House. Dogara invited Omidiran to approach the chair to discuss her agitation privately. She reluctantly went to meet Dogara where she was seen gesticulating angrily. One source stated,

“She had been taken to task earlier on social media over the N10m claim by Jibrin. “She is angry because her denial did not convince her followers. That was why she wanted the matter discussed.”

Uncensored _man or boy

Have you ever wondered, why your man can't seem to man up or dosent take thing serious, it could be because you are are nt dating a man but a boy.
There are clear signs that your man isnt yet a man but a boy.

1_He Gets Wasted Too Often-
I’m all for going out and getting blasted every once in a while, but after college or university, it shouldn’t be the whole point of every night out. Cleaning up his pile and dealing with his morning-after hangovers is going to get old fast.

2_ He Only Cares About Himself-
He has no interest in your hopes and dreams unless they revolve around him; he only cares that his needs are being met. An actual adult would have already figured out he’s not the center of the goddamn universe.

3_ He Lives With His Parents-.
Yeah, no shit, right? Still, when we’re drawn to people, we tend to make excuses for their faults. But this is the reddest of red flags. How can you expect to have an adult relationship with someone who’s never left the nest?

4_ He Can’t Hold Down A Job-
I’m not saying he has to have his whole career planned out, but if he blows off work when he doesn’t feel like going, quits or gets fired because he’s too lazy or the job is too boring, this guy still doesn’t know life isn’t always about doing whatever he wants to do all the time.

5_He Refuses To Compromise-
This guy has an unrealistic and outdated idea of what it means to be a man. He thinks that unless everything is done on his terms, he’ll be perceived as weak-willed. Grown-ups know life is full of compromises.A relationship without compromise is fake.

6_ He Intentionally Makes You Jealous-.
This is another sign of insecurity, which isn’t the most masculine of qualities. For whatever reason, he wants you to believe he has other options besides you and he makes sure you know about them.

7_ Boys only want to hook up -
men invest their time and energy in the right woman.
There’s a moment in every man’s life when he realises that being in a relationship makes him significantly happier than chasing “tail” every night. If you’re only hearing from him at 1 a.m. on a Saturday night, he’s not ready to give up his toys. Move on and find yourself a grown man.
