Lynxx Release New Ablum With Top Stars

Lynxxx has released the tracklist for his sophomore album “The Album Before The Album”.
The album contains 18 tracks with one bonus track and features acts such as Mr Eazi, E.L., Poe and Tekno.
The album is billed to drop tomorrow Wednesday, October, 26, 2016.
The rapper has been on a religious journey this year after rediscovering his passion for Christianity.
“The Album Before The Album” is the first body of work since the singer turned a new leaf in his life and career. His previous album – “This Is Lynxxx”, which was released in 2011, is the last work he released from a ‘worldly perspective’.
“The Album Before The Album” is an interlude project, which will precede another project to be released in the near future.

Lynxxx earlier revealed he will not be using women shaking their 'Whatever' in his music videos.
He admits to being shallow in the past with his music, in an interview with BBC Focus on Africa, adding that he wasn't fulfilled with the music he was doing back in the past.
He has dropped two singles so far - 'Serve you' and 'Characha'.

'We didn't make noise about our anti-corruption fight' - GEJ

Jonathan said he reformed the anti-corruption agencies in the country to enhance their capacity to function effectively.
"We reformed the institutions and introduced various mechanisms to stop the corruption problems in our country without publicity," he said.
He stated this while speaking to students at the Oxford Union of the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, on the theme "Promoting Youth Entrepreneurship."
The former president, however, did not expatiate on his anti-corruption fight.
He told the students, who inquired about the anti-corruption war under his government, that he did not want to "interfere with the legal processes" because "several matters are pending in court."

Jonathan, who lost his 2015 re-election bid, is believed to be making reference to the ongoing anti-corruption war under President Muhammadu Buhari, in which arrests and prosecutions of allegedly corrupt persons dominate media contents.
Many, especially the opposition, have criticised Buhari's corruption fight, saying it is vindictive and without regard to the rule of law.

Femi Fani-Kayode must nor die in Detention !! PDP warns EFCC

In a statement from the opposition party, PDP. They frowned at the rate of human right abuses by the current government and said that Femi Fani Kayode is a weak and ill man taking medication but the EFCC still chose to detain him

The statement read: “It is common knowledge that in furtherance of its campaign of attrition against members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the guise of an anti-corruption war, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, former Spokesperson for the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PDPPCP) was arrested in the premises of the Federal High Court, Lagos. “His re-arrest is the latest in a series of plans designed to further harass and intimidate our members and supporters using the security and intelligence apparatus of the Nigerian State. A few days before his arrest his wife, Precious Chikwendu and their 8 month old son, Aragorn, were arrested and would have been detained but for the timely intervention of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State. “What is not common knowledge is that at the time of his arrest, Chief Fani-Kayode was ill and taking medication. Since his arrest, he has been denied access to his medication and medical doctors who are conversant with his medical history.

“As at the time of writing this statement, officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have continued to deny Chief Fani-Kayode access to his medication. “The only conclusion that can be reached is that the APC led Federal Government and EFCC want Chief Fani-Kayode to die in detention. In the light of the prevailing circumstances where EFCC are detaining an obviously weak and ill man, this is an inescapable conclusion.

“These continuous violations of the constitutional rights and freedoms of the Nigerian people by the Buhari Administration must stop. The Federal Government cannot, and must not, be allowed to continually infringe on the rights of the very people it swore to uphold. “We call on all well-meaning Nigerians to urge the Federal Government to desist from its path of human rights abuses.”

We have taken responsibility and we would no longer blame PDP for the economic crisis - APC

THE All Progressives Congress on Monday said the lingering economic crisis in the country should no longer be blamed on the 16-year streak of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The party said it could no longer continue to blame past administrations for the enormous hardship Nigerians are grappling with.

This was disclosed by the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, when he briefed reporters shortly after he and other APC governors met with President Muhammadu Buhari in the State House on Monday afternoon.

“We must take responsibility and we must never shift the responsibility to anybody,” Mr. Okorocha said.

“We are responsible for everything happening in Nigeria.”

“The good, the bad, the ugly but we are promising Nigerians that we shall fix it,”

The admission followed months of stern denial from the leadership of the APC and the Buhari administration, who maintained that Nigerians should direct their anger towards the PDP.

Mr. Okorocha, who is also the chairman of APC Governors’ Forum, said the party had now recognised that Nigerians are experiencing untold economic pains and his party had commenced initiatives that would address them.

“We share the pains of Nigerians, every human being must feel it,” Mr. Okorocha said.

“We also feel what they are going through but we are asking for a little patience let us do things the right way and do it once and for all.”

I don't care if Obaseki Betrays me - Oshiomole

Outgoing Governor of Edo state has said he does not care if his successor Godwin Obaseki betrays him after taking over

Oshiomhole said this when responding to a question on whether he was worried that he and Obaseki might later fall out with each other as witnessed in some other states where ex-governors had conflicts with their successors.

He explained that such conflict often arises when former governors refuse to accept that their tenure is over.
“That is very important if you say he (Obaseki) will disappoint me, I am not the state.

I am only one out of about four million Edo people.

So, his obligation and his loyalty should be to the people of Edo State,” he said.

“The oath of office he is going to subscribe to says that he will defend the constitution of Nigeria, he will do everything to uplift the quality of lives of Edo people. Nothing in his oath office will include ‘I shall not betray my predecessor’ because I have no interest to be betrayed.”
