Miss Cucumber! Chidinma Okeke Goes Missing… Family Cries Out For Help

Sir Jeremiah Okeke, the father of Former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke has cried out for help as her daughter has reportedly gone missing.

It seems like the controversy generated by Chidinma Okeke‘s leaked lesbian cex tape has taken a new twist as the family has said the beauty queen is nowhere to be found.
The 65-year-old father of the 19-year-old 300-level student of Medical Laboratory at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, has revealed that the whereabouts of her daughter is unknown.
Speaking to Saturday Sun, Chidinma’s father, Sir Jeremiah Okeke said: “Chidinma is my own daughter but there is nothing much I can say about this because there is a lifestyle adopted by my family. We don’t foment troubles.
The father in the phone conversation continued in a voice laden with emotion: “I, as the father, have committed everything to God in prayers. Human being cannot fight our cause but only God in heaven. We are in serious prayers for God to intervene. I don’t have anybody on earth except God.”
In response to a question raised as to prior reports by the beauty queen about being sexually harrassed, Mr Okeke replied: “I am confused about the whole thing as of now. It is only when I set my eyes on my daughter that I will know about all these. As it stands now, I don’t know where my daughter is.”
He further noted that he suspects nobody in the blackmail. He said: “There are many ways God is fighting my battle. I was only five years when my father died. I don’t know whether I got up to six years before my mother died too. I don’t have anybody but it is only God that sustained me all through. It was same God that assisted me to raise and train all my children. All the family members are praying.

“As it stands now, my daughter is still a small girl. I don’t know whether she is still alive or dead. But all I know is that God will prove Himself worthy to fight His children’s battle. I don’t have much to say for now.

“So many people have told me to take certain actions but me and my God are still communicating through prayers. There are several ways God reveals some things to me. I am not suspecting anybody but only God knows who is behind that; whether he is human or spirit. I’m leaving whoever that is behind it to his conscience. The life of my daughter is most important to me now. Wherever she is, let her be alive for me.”

Buhari Meets Saraki behind closed door.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind closed door with Senate President Bukola Saraki and a former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Buhari met with the two senators separately in his office shortly after they joined him for Jumat prayers at the main mosque inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Saraki was accompanied to the President’s office by Senator Danjuma Goje.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, also attended the Friday prayers but left immediately after the prayers ended.

Saraki later told State House correspondents that it would not be right to politicise the matter by reducing the issues surrounding the Federal Government’s loan request to the relationship between the executive and the legislative.

He said, “I came here to pray. I have finished praying and I just had a general felicitation with the President. It did not go beyond that.

“We should not look at that (the loan request) as a reflection of the relationship between the executive and the legislature.

“Don’t let us politicise very important issues. As we said, this is work in progress.”

Buhari is solely to blame for Nigeria's economic woes - Social Media Man

Just setting the records straight for reference purposes. This was a publication by the Ministry of Budget and National Planning on their website

It can be seen from the publication that Oil accounted for only less than 18% of Nigeria's GDP between 2010 and 2014, when Nigeria recorded most of the high crude oil sales. in 2014 for instance, Oil accounted for barely 11% of Nigeria's GDP. This was the same time when Nigeria had the Biggest economy in Africa; which included Industries like telecoms, information technology, music, online sales, airlines, and film production.

This raises an important question that if oil accounted for a very insignificant part of our GDP, How then could Nigeria have gone into recession due to drop in Oil Revenue?

Since Buhari assumed office in May 2015, there has been a consistent decline in Business and Investment, he has been unable to develop a clear policy direction for his administration. His incompetency, Rushed TSA Implementation, unguarded statements about the economy and against sections of the country which unduly heated up the polity, Stiff Forex policy and Lack of a clear policy direction eroded investor confidence and caused agitation in the Niger Delta Region.

These are the factors which drove Nigeria to a recession. Lets be very clear with this fact and find a way to move this country forward.

One thing is clear, if Buhari does not honestly take responsibility for the mess and seek solutions which include everyone, He may not be able to champion Nigeria out of the mess because Government only succeeds when the stakeholders and people have confidence in it.

God Bless Nigeria

Some people want to bring me down – EFCC boss

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has revealed that some people are trying to bring him down.
Also speaking on the issue, the spokesman of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, in a statement, frowned at reports on social media alleging that the anti-graft agency's boss is spreading lies.
Uwujaren also said that the reports are an attempt by some group of people to damage Magu's reputation.
He said “In the last week or so, the social media has been awash with fictitious reports, all painting an uncanny picture of desperation by Magu over his purported non-confirmation as substantive chair of the EFCC, and of stricture within the rank and file of the EFCC workforce leading to resignations.
“One of such reports is the one making the rounds in several gossip blogs with the title, ‘How EFCC’s Magu and Sahara Reporters Peddle Lies to the Media’. The report which is a parody of disingenuous invention of falsehood is the handiwork of mischievous people hell-bent on causing disaffection between the Magu-led EFCC and the executive on the one hand, and the members of staff of the EFCC on the other.
“The allusion to bullying and victimization of EFCC staff is clearly designed to instigate the staff of the commission against its leadership as there is no truth in it. For the records, no ‘senior EFCC core official’ has resigned from the commission and insinuation of mass resignation at the commission is mere scaremongering.
“The same applies to the claim that a sensitive unit has been set up in the commission to ‘bug the phone line’ of some persons. This is mischief taken too far!.”

Magu also refuted claims that he is using his position to bully appointees of President Buhari, and some traditional rulers.
The EFCC boss also re-affirmed » that the fight against corruption under his tenure, is not selective.
