US Government gave Buhari names of oil thieves - .. via @iam_bobokanbai

According to a report by Punch, the US government handed over the names of Nigerian oil thieves to President Buhari during his last trip to the country. A member of the President’s entourage during the trip told the newspaper;
"I can tell you that the President already has the list of names of the people engaging in the stealing of Nigeria’s oil. The list, when released by the President, will shock Nigerians. But let’s wait and see first,” the source said.
The source insinuated that most of the oil thieves were from President Jonathan's administration. The source claimed that Buhari got two lists from the US, - one listing the names of top government officials who have been stealing the country’s oil, using their high offices to perpetrate the stealing; and the other containing the names of illegal oil bunkerers.
“The President will probe all of them and make sure they return whatever fortune they had made from their thievery,” the source said.

@OLABODESAYGEE’s TOP 5 FAST FOOD IN UNILAG HOSTELS.. via @iam_bobokanbai

GARRI- This is undoubtedly the number one fast food in Unilag (or better still in Nigeria as a whole). Garri (for those that don’t know its cassava flakes) is usually mixed with ordinary water or cold water and taken like corn flakes. For those in the middle class, they buy sugar and cold water but those in the upper class can go as far as buying groundnut, milk and even Milo. Some Unilag girls/boys that like forming say Garri is for the poor, some say when they take it they have eye problem, some even say they have never tasted Garri before, all I have to say is that; Garri (garriumsulphate) have been saving Unilag students(and Nigerians) since 1828 BC.
BREAD and anything- This is very common amongst both boys and girls of new hall (that’s why the Unilag bakery is situated close to them) as they can eat bread with anything. Ranging from bread and beans to bread and egg to bread and butter to bread and jam to bread and mayonnaise to bread and peanut butter or bread and indomie or even bread and water. To do bread and anything all you need is have as low as N150. N70 or N80 bread with N50 beans, N50 egg, N50 butter and for those that don’t have jam or peanut butter can easily famz a friend or roommate that do.(AND PLS when you eat bread make sure you take a lot of water to help your digestion)

NOODLES- This is like the only thing some students can cook without supervision (though some of them will still put too much water). The big boys and girls do Indomie, the middle class do golden penny while the lower class do mimee noodles. Water on fire, noodles in water, seasoning and chilli in noodles, leave to steam for 5mins (but 2mins if it’s the hell fire hot plate) and food is ready. This is like the only food you can cook when the school’s power authority starts their wonron wonron (their rubbish)

SPAGETTI- There are two types of spaghetti, the concoction and the stew spag. The concoction is the fastest as you have to just put in all the ingredients (tomato paste, grinded pepper, magi, salt, onion, groundnut oil etc) and the spag, cover and let it steam for 15mins(7 mins if it’s the hell fire hot plate). This method is faster than the stew method, as you have to first boil the spaghetti before you make the always tasteless pepperterra stew. But students don’t usually do this as its slower (hunger don kill you finish before e done) and it consumes more ingredients and also you need two separate pots for the stew and the spaghetti (as most students only have one pot and some don’t even have pot but borrow only when they want to cook).

CONCOTION RICE- No Unilag student or an alumnus that is staying or has stayed in the hostel will or can categorically tell me that he/she has never tasted or ate concoction rice before. And for those that have not, concoction rice is simply JollofRice gone bad or the china of JollofRice. It usually has the same ingredients as JollofRice, looks like JollofRice some even have the JollofRice aroma but it’s definitely not JollofRice. Rice, tomato paste, ata gungun (grinded pepper), maggi, onion, groundnut oil, curry. Tyme etc all in the same pot and you have you concoction rice. SHOUTOUT to my Unilag girls though, most of you think you cook JollofRice for that your boyfriend but am so sorry to burst your bubble; Its all concoction rice or better still Chine JollofRice (loolz)

NOTE: If you need cooking tips from me or you need someone to teach you how to cook? Don’t be ashamed hit me up on 08142375380 or 2AD4918C (bbm) and I will be ever willing to tutor you. *cheers*

The Lagos State chapter of Peoplea Democratic Party has strongly berated Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for hastily obtaining a N39.4bn loan from the World Bank.
In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, on Sunday, the major opposition party in Lagos also advised the governor to rescind the decision pending the book check on all previously obtained loans in the state, especially by the last administration under Babatunde Fashola.
This is just as the party also described Ambode “as weak to fight corruption and block leakages” in the state with the alleged continual services of the tax consultant firm, Alpha Beta.
According to the statement, the firm is allegedly milking the state of its revenue.

I stand by my comment on Soyinka, says Obasanjo..via @iam_bobokanbai

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that he maintains his view, as expressed in his three-volume autobiography, My Watch, that Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka has better expertise in wine matters than in political analysis.
In the book, Obasanjo wrote, “For Wole, no one can be good, nor can anything be spot-on politically except that which emanates from him or is ordained by him. His friends and loved ones will always be right and correct no matter what they do or fail to do. He is surely a better wine connoisseur and a more successful aparo (guinea fowl) hunter than a political critic.

Sunday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Dividends of Holiness..

Topic: Dividends of Holiness [Sunday July 26, 2015]

There is therefore a link between righteousness and life, just as there is a link between sin and death (Romans 6:23). Although God has promised you long life in Psalm 91:16, it is only when you live holy that this promise can be fulfilled in your life (Psalm 91:14). If you look close enough, you will discover that most of God’s promises have conditions attached to their fulfilment.

Tinubu behind Toyin Saraki’s EFCC ordeal - Sen. Waku.. via @iam_bobokanbai

Jagaban is being accused by a senator of being behind Toyin Saraki's EFCC ordeal. According to a report by Punch, Senator Joseph Waku, a former Vice-Chairman and member, Board of Trustees of the Arewa Consultative Forum, says the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, allegedly masterminded the EFCC petition against the wife of the Senate President, who has since  to be invited by the anti-graft commission for questioning.
Waku, a leader of the APC, in a statement sent to journalists in Abuja on Saturday, described a situation where Tinubu would be allegedly using his personal relationship with the EFCC Chairman “to embarrass and torment fellow party members” as unfortunate.
“I have chosen to speak out on this issue and make my findings on this issue known to the public. After days of painstaking enquiries, I discovered that both Tinubu and Lamorde maintain a mutually beneficial relationship since the days of Lamorde as the EFCC Director of Operations and based in Lagos between 2003 and 2007, when Tinubu was equally the Governor of Lagos.
“I also discovered from my findings in EFCC that the so-called petition against Mrs. Saraki was personally given to Lamorde by Tinubu under the guise that he was submitting the petition on behalf of the APC leadership to punish Saraki for working against the party’s leadership on the choice of National Assembly leaders. This was followed by a promise to help secure a second term for Lamorde as EFCC chairman.” he said
But when Sunday Punch contacted Tinubu’s Media Adviser, Mr. Sunday Dare, he said,
“No one should pay Senator Waku any attention. We know when he is broke and needs a quick fix. What he has said is fit for the trash. No one should dignify Waku’s tales by moonlight with any attention or ever take him serious. For any serious individual with a reputation to protect, Waku is a very poor hire. Waku is an individual with no shred of reputation and a political pariah in his home state.
“Tinubu does not run or dictate to the EFCC. And like countless others, Tinubu had also been investigated by the EFCC several times in the past. Tinubu has no hand in the travails of anyone because he is right now very busy, working with others of like minds on how the APC political agenda can set sail as quickly as possible. That is the urgency of now and not the tantrums of the likes of Waku.

Onyeka Onwenu in messy N17m Bribe scandal.. via @iam_bobokanbai

One of Nigeria’s foremost celebrities, Onyeka Onwenu, has been accused of demanding and collecting kickbacks through her personal assistant, Chika Abazu, from a contractor employed to carry out renovation works at the National Centre for Women Development [NCWD], where she is director general.
Premium Times reports that the accusation was levelled by Joseph Nwakama, an architect with Solidmark Associates Limited, the company employed by the Centre to carry out the renovation of its guest house.

However, although it was established by investigators from the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC, that Mr. Abazu indeed demanded and received a total of N17 million bribe from the contractor, no direct evidence has so far linked Ms. Onwenu to the offence.
So, it was Mr. Abazu who was on July 10 arraigned before a Federal Capital Territory High Court on a six-count charge of bribery and gratification.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges but was denied bail and ordered remanded in the Federal Prisons, Kuje, until the case is dispensed with.
The presiding judge, Justice Chukwu Ndukwe, adjourned the case till September 28 for trial to commence.

Although investigators could not directly link Ms. Onwenu to bribetaking, documents obtained by the icirnigeria.org revealed so many wrongdoings by the Centre’s management under her watch, including funding the Solidmark contract with money taken from a Women Empowerment Programme in Zamfara State and spending more than was budgeted for the project. That is apart from paying the contractor even before he was officially awarded the contract.

Some women said that they would rather go into the car or restroom to breastfeed their children.

PDP warns FG not to intimidate them with EFCC .. via @iam_bobokanbai

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, senators have warned the Federal Government against using the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to intimidate them, vowing to resist such attempt.

They asked President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that some people do not use his name to misuse state machinery in fighting their perceived political opponents in the guise of waging anti-corruption war.
A statement on Friday by Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, on behalf of PDP senators, read,
ADVERTISEMENT
“As much as we are not against the anti-corruption agencies performing their statutory duties, the invitation by EFCC to the wife of the Senate President, Mrs. Toyin Saraki, clearly indicated that the threat by a group within the National Assembly to use all means to fight the National Assembly leadership is now being carried out.
“Nigerians should ask the EFCC what it was waiting for all this while before realising that it would need to invite Mrs. Saraki when she left the Government House with her husband in 2011. And why should the invitation come a few days after a senator threatened that his group would bring the senate president down?
“We also think that the same witch-hunt that the wife of the senate president is suffering now is the same thing happening to his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who the police have been disturbing. But at the right time, we will jointly make our opinion known on the harassment of our leaders.”
The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday said the invitation of Mrs. Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was politically motivated.

However, during a media briefing in Ilorin after the state APC’s executive meeting, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani, described the EFCC’s invitation as a calculated attempt to dent the image of the senate president and his wife.

He cautioned EFCC to avoid being used for political vendetta.

Balogun-Fulani said,
“The EFCC’s invitation of Mrs. Saraki was a shock to the APC in Kwara State because five years after her husband left office as the governor, the anti-graft agency thought it wise to invite his wife for questioning.”

What's in her bag? Woman on train platform becomes internet celeb for wrong reasons.. via @iam_bobokanbai

This woman became an internet sensation this week after someone posted this photo of her on a train platform in London, on his Facebook page. The poster asked his followers what was the long pink object sticking from her bag and many believed it was a sex toy...a dildo. The photo was shared over 50,000 times but fortunately for her, nobody knows who she is. Is that really a sex toy, though?
